Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide when you submit a project inquiry, create a client account, communicate with our team, request a password reset, or make a payment. This may include your name, email address, telephone number, company information, project description, budget, timeline, messages, and files such as drawings, photographs, or PDFs.
When you use the site, our hosting and security providers may automatically process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, and security events. We use essential cookies to keep administrators and clients signed in and to maintain necessary site functions.

How we use information
We use information to review inquiries, communicate about projects, prepare and manage quotes, provide engineering and prototyping services, operate the client portal, process payments, maintain account security, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, and improve the reliability of the site.
We do not sell personal information, use it for third-party behavioral advertising, or share project materials for another company’s marketing.

Service providers
We use service providers only where needed to operate the site and deliver services. Cloudflare provides website infrastructure, security, database, and private file storage. Stripe processes payments. Resend delivers transactional email. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Maeform Labs does not receive or store your complete card or bank-account number. Payment details are entered directly into Stripe’s checkout service.

Project files and confidentiality
Files submitted with an inquiry are stored in private storage and are available only to authorized Maeform administrators and, where applicable, the client account assigned to that project. Do not submit export-controlled information, classified information, health records, government identifiers, payment-card details, passwords, or other highly sensitive material through the project form.
If a project requires a nondisclosure agreement or special handling requirements, contact us before sending confidential design files.

Retention and security
We retain project and account information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business and payment records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal obligations. Retention periods vary according to the type of record and the status of the project.
We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted connections, access controls, private file storage, password hashing, and restricted account sessions. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your account, subject to records we must retain for legal, security, payment, or legitimate business purposes. You may also request that we close your client account.
To make a privacy request, email maeformlabs@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Children and international use
The site and our services are intended for adults and businesses. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Maeform Labs is based in Maryland, United States. If you access the site from Canada or another location, your information may be processed and stored in the United States.

Changes and contact
We may revise this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
