Work / Representative engagements

Focused problems.Buildable answers.

Maeform takes on practical engineering problems that need a direct path from uncertainty to a physical result.

Examples of the process, not invented client claims.

Until we have permission to publish completed client projects, these representative paths show how we frame common engagements. The actual scope, deliverables, and process are always built around your constraints.

01EXAMPLE ENGAGEMENT / Fixture

Hold an awkward part in exactly the right place.

Problem
A component needs repeatable alignment for drilling, assembly, inspection, or repair.
Approach
Define the contact points, model the fixture, prototype it, then test the fit against the real part.
Typical output
CAD · PROTOTYPE · BUILD NOTES
02EXAMPLE ENGAGEMENT / Enclosure

Package the electronics without making the object feel improvised.

Problem
Boards, controls, connectors, and mounting points need one coherent, serviceable housing.
Approach
Map the internal stack, solve access and fastening, then validate clearances with a physical model.
Typical output
LAYOUT · CAD · FIT CHECK
03EXAMPLE ENGAGEMENT / Mechanism

Replace the unavailable part that keeps the useful thing working.

Problem
A worn, broken, or discontinued component is preventing a larger system from doing its job.
Approach
Measure the interfaces, recreate the function, choose a practical process, and test the replacement.
Typical output
REVERSE ENGINEERING · PROTOTYPE · DRAWING

Have a different problem?

That may be exactly the point.

If the object is practical, the problem is specific, and a prototype can answer the important questions, send it over.
